hiii, i’m Hannah. i’m an oregon coast native american, tututni, and also have roots in spain. i feel like these two family BACKGROUNDS really capture my style and personality. spunky spanish side with the free-spirted and nature loving native side.
the concept of miakoda began as an idea, and after some serious grief i made it a reality. i love working with my hands and keeping my mind at ease, so i finally BUCKLED down in 2023 and really started teaching myself how to bead. it truly has been a dream come true. i wake up and feel so thankful that i have this art to express myself and create the designs in my head. i’m very much in love with the entire process from start to finish. I find inspiration in pretty much everything: nature, patterns, colors, textures, traditional native american art, and even music.
for now, i will always use miyuki beads. i typically use 925 sterling silver / 2o gauge hooks unless specified. if you have any questions with your product, or need a replacement, please don’t hesitate to reach out. i appreciate you all. thanks for being here and digging my work. much love. -Hannah
